Chefs for Seniors

Chefs for Seniors is a great solution for getting health and nutrition on track.

When you wake up in the morning does the question, “What am I going to eat  today?” plague you? Maybe you don’t want to cook, maybe you don’t know how  to cook, or maybe you are just not physically up to the task. Or, are you just overwhelmed with so much nutritional information you don’t know what to  believe anymore? Although you may know that eating right is the best medicine for overall good health, are you stumped? If so, this is clutter because it has you frozen in your tracks without a free and clear path forward. Rather than give up in desperation and head to the closest fast-food establishment, look for  solutions. If you don’t know about Chef for Seniors, it might be just the thing for  you.

Chef for Seniors is a national franchise and the number one personal chef  company in the country. Since 2013, the company has grown to include in-home  personal chef services for seniors in more than 90 US cities. Here’s how it works:  A personal chef, will come to your home. All chefs are fully insured, undergo  background checks, have years of experience, and are ServSafe Certified to insure they are using state certified food preparation practices. They use the client’s equipment or bring all the tools and equipment they need to create menus that are 100% customized to fit the client’s dietary needs and palate preferences.

Chefs for Seniors menus accommodate most dietary concerns and are particularly well-suited for low-sodium, diabetic friendly, gluten-free, Kosher, and renal diet meals. Inspiration from the DASH Diet (Dietary  Approach To Stopping Hypertension) is taken. While clients are  welcomed to provide their own recipes, the Chefs for Seniors chef will  present more than 175 mouth-watering options that rival choices  available at any restaurant. Options may include coconut curry cod, pretzel crusted chicken tenders, beef stroganoff, crab cakes and more!

Chefs for Seniors professionals come into the client’s home weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, depending on special meal plan needs and  budget. Each visit is for 2 ½ t 3 ½ hours at a time. Clients often socialize with the chef while their meals are prepared, creating companionship, but it is not necessary as long as the chef has access to the kitchen. Meals are stored in plastic or glass containers in the client’s refrigerator and/or freezer when preparation is complete. The cost for Chef for Seniors services varies from city to city, but overall, are comparable to meal delivery services. The service also includes the chef grocery shops for fresh ingredients before arriving and clean up afterward.

A visit to www.chefsforseniors.com website will enable you to search for more information and identify the closest Chefs for Seniors service near you.
